The “Altar” album is NOT a split album. “Altar” is a collaboration album between sunn 0))) and boris that is a result of both bands conceptualizing, writing and recording the album together as one entity. Both groups have stepped outside their previous sounds and created a wholly unique album that stands on its own unique ground. There are elements of each groups trademark sound within the album but true to each groups progressive and experimental aspects, “Altar” moves into a completely new dimension.

vamos a ver que tal suena esto
precioso disco! me lo compre en edicion especial mega freak en el roadburn (eso significa edicion normal en southern lord) y no me he atrevido a ponerlo en el tocadiscos, es todo rojillo con aguas negras... y colabora kim thayil!
Es un discazo, un "must"!
La edición en vinilo (triple) de colorines es muy chula...hasta la edición en CD lo es! (y mira que los cds son/suelen ser feacos!).
Pd: A todo esto, estos Boris "se curran" unas presentaciones de cd/lp bastante molonas.
pd2: La ultima foto de kim thayil que vi fue en el aniversario de subpop y vaya trazacas llevaba el amigo...que son ya casi 50 tacazos Kim!
